    The problems

You can't preview what you're paying for

Your agent calls an endpoint, pays, and hopes the data is useful. If it isn't, the money is gone. There is no standard way to evaluate a service's output before committing payment.

Nothing stops a runaway agent from draining a wallet

MPP gives agents the ability to pay. It does not give them the ability to stop. There is no built-in mechanism to cap total spend, throttle bursts, or trip a circuit breaker when something goes wrong.

Bad actors hide behind valid specs

A service can publish a compliant OpenAPI spec, accept payment, and return garbage. Without a verification layer, these endpoints go undetected until someone pays to find out.

    What use.mpp.land does

    Response previews

Every MPP service in the registry gets a /samples endpoint through the proxy. Samples are collected from real paid queries, so your agent can inspect actual response quality before spending anything.

    Budget enforcement

Register your wallet with zero-cost auth, then define hard spending rules: global caps, per-service limits, per-endpoint budgets, rate throttling, debouncing, and circuit breakers. Configure in the dashboard or through the API.

    Reliability routing

When multiple services offer the same capability, the proxy picks the one with the best uptime and compliance score from the mpp.land registry. If a provider degrades, traffic shifts automatically.

    Contract verification

Every request that flows through the proxy is checked against the service's own published spec. Endpoints that contradict their metadata, return errors after payment, or silently degrade are flagged for the community.

    Refund transparency

See which services offer refund policies, how those policies work in practice, and where the abuse surface is. Surfaced in search results and on individual service profiles across the registry.

    How the proxy works

Your agent talks to use.mpp.land instead of the endpoint directly. The proxy inspects every request before forwarding it and every response before returning it.

    Your agent
    use.mpp.land
    MPP endpoint
    POST /api/data
    Budget exceeded?
    403 Budget limit
    ← blocked
    Rate limit / circuit breaker?
    429 Throttled
    ← blocked
    Endpoint flagged?
    502 Unreliable endpoint
    ← rerouted or blocked
    All checks pass
    → forward + pay
    402 → payment → 200
    Validate response vs spec
    200 + data
    ← collect sample, return

    Free, forever

use.mpp.land does not charge fees, take a cut, or meter usage. The proxy exists to strengthen the MPP ecosystem: better data for the registry, better protection for agents, better accountability for service providers. That is how it earns its place.

We are exploring optional paid tiers for teams that need advanced features like dedicated infrastructure, custom routing policies, or priority support. These will be strictly opt-in. The core proxy, budget controls, samples, and routing will always be free.
